Piggy or picky? Print E-mail
Wednesday, 11 October 2017 11:05
We all know how Labradors love their food (and everyone else's!) but just why are some dogs greedy and others picky? Funded by Dogs Trust, researchers are Cambridge University are endeavouring to find out by investigating the genetic factors that make a dog hungry - or not. Canine obesity is on the rise in the UK and more research is needed to help understand and tackle the problem. You can help further scientific knowledge by filling out a simple questionnaire at www.godogs.org.uk/can-your-dog-help/ - whether your dog is a glutton or a fusspot.
