And the dog came too... Print E-mail

After dialling 999 a grandmother was on her way to hospital by ambulance when the paramedics pulled over to pick up a cold, wet and distressed Labrador.  Apparently the pensioner was asked if she minded the dog coming too and she said no.  There was a happy ending for both human and dog but now her granddaughter is kicking up a fuss.  What a shame!  At a time of crisis for the NHS when so many who are critically ill have to wait hours for an ambulance this woman was lucky to get a ride - and with paramedics who were caring enough to worry about a stray dog.  Full marks to them!
