At 25, Jack a Yorkshire terrier, was the UK's oldest dog until - a Lakeland terrier attacked and killed him.  What a tragic end for a dog who in human years was about 117.  And a timely reminder that aggressive dogs often can come out of nowhere in all shapes and sizes.  Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his owners Ray and Mary Bunn.  At such a great age, poor old Jack should have been able to slip quietly away in his sleep.
