It's not long now until summer when lots of dog owners will be heading off to self catering cottages throughout the UK - accompanied by their dog(s).  An increasing number of cottages now allow dogs as they have realised they are missing out on a large market if they don't.  Some make a charge for dog visitors on the grounds that the cottage needs extra cleaning.  But if the cottage is thoroughly and properly cleaned how can it be "extra" cleaned?  Is this charge fair? And if dogs are charged, should there be a children charge too??  Tell us what you think - as a visitor or a cottage owner....
