The Animal Health Trust has issued a warning about an increase in the number of dogs with fatal kidney problems, possibly due to jerky-type dog treats.  The treats, mostly chicken or duck, all originated from China.  Jerky dog food was banned in the US in 2013; a year later there 5,000 reports of illnesses and 1,000 deaths.
