An increasing number of dogs are undergoing heart surgery as well as having replacement legs which is helping double the profits of many veterinary surgeries.  It seems that many owners are willing to pay for expensive surgery because of the initial high purchase price of the dog or through higher pet insurance premiums.  This in turn has resulted in more surgeries investing in the most recent technology and offering a wide variety of treatment options.
