... beware of Seasonal Canine Illness.  This is a mystery illness affecting dogs between August and November that have walked in woodland.  There are specific research sites such as Rendlesham, Sherwood and Sandringham but this is not to say it does not occur in other woods in the country.  The disease was first identified in 2009 when a number of dogs died but the exact cause is still unknown.  For further information and symptoms of affected dogs, visit the Animal Health Trust website.
